Overall, I’m happy
I was pleasantly surprised by the Lems Tactical Pro Tall. As someone who enjoys barefoot-style footwear, I was initially concerned that the zero-drop design would leave me feeling every rock and root while rucking. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. Lems struck a nice balance by providing enough underfoot protection to keep the boots comfortable over rough terrain without sacrificing the natural feel that barefoot enthusiasts appreciate.
One of the standout features is the wide toe box. It gave my feet plenty of room to spread naturally, which made long rucks much more comfortable and helped reduce the cramped feeling I often get in traditional tactical boots.
My biggest criticism is the lack of ventilation. For a boot that’s clearly intended for athletic use and rucking, I think some form of air vent or improved breathability would make a significant difference. During sustained activity, my feet tended to get hot, and the boots didn’t dry out as quickly as I’d like.
Overall, I think the Tactical Pro Tall does an excellent job bridging the gap between traditional tactical boots and minimalist footwear. If you’re looking for a comfortable rucking boot with a wide toe box and enough cushioning to handle uneven terrain without feeling every rock, it’s a solid choice. I’d just like to see better ventilation in a future version.

Tac Boot
I like the boot construction, and materials. The boots are very light. I have an high instep and the widest feet, so in retrospect I should have ordered 1/2-1 size larger.

Military purpose
I was sceptical at first. So many boots on the market. I don’t regret the purchase. Great toe box space and the boot moves naturally with your foot. My feet stay quite dry now compared to previous brands. If you feel your feet are too low in the boot, they come with a layering insole for elevation. Haven’t tried it though considering I don’t need it.
I recommend wearing them prior to work/duty just to break them in a little. For me, it was required near the ankle region.

These are exactly what I've always wanted. No other company does foot shaped military boots. These are definitely not minimalist, but comfortable and great for my wife feet.
