Incredible Hiking Boot
Wore these for the very first time on an 8-mile hike into the Havasupai Indian Reservation in Arizona through rocks, sand, creeks, boulders, and brush. To say they took a beating would be an understatement. Not only did I not get any blisters from my first-time wear, but my feet didn't hurt at all, really, just my legs. They held up through all of the falls and felt like I had had them for years, as a trusty pair of boots should. 10 outta 10 would recommend.

Unbelievable comfort!
My daughter and son-in-law, who live off the grid in Northern Minnesota, and our outdoors a lot, suggested these shoes to me. I highly respect their opinions in order to pair almost immediately. These may be the most comfortable and lightweight shoes I’ve ever worn! It’s high summer in Ohio right now, so they aren’t my first choice of footwear at the moment, but beginning this fall, they will be my go footwear. I also love the styling and quality, from the leather uppers to the tread design. My wife liked them so much, that she bought a women’s pair of slip on boots for herself. Well done!

Overall they are comfortable for walking, look great but there are some issues
Overall I am very satisfied with the boots. They are comfortable for walking, look great, and are stylish enough for casual outings.
However there are a few minor issues I’ve encountered:
1. Comfort over time: Initially, the comfort was instant and fantastic. However after about a month of continuous wear, the sole seems to have compressed a bit. While they are still comfortable, they don't provide that same new feeling they had at the start.
2. Lacing system: This might sound a bit Nitpicking, but the lacing process isn't very smooth. To get a snug fit, you have to tighten the laces manually at every single eyelet as you move up. It’s a minor annoyance, but if you’re in a hurry to put them on and get out the door, it can be frustrating.
3. Durability: After two months of regular, non-intensive use (mostly urban walking), I noticed the adhesive on the sole starting to weaken in a few spots. I'm concerned this might eventually compromise the boot's waterproof integrity.
4. Breathability: It is worth noting that these boots run quite warm. After wearing them for a full day in hot weather, my socks felt noticeably damp. but that is what you can expect from WP boots.
