Primal Zen
This is my 4th pair, so they are one of my favourite shoes. The fit is snugger than the Primal 3 shoe, especially over the heel area.

2 YEAR REVIEW - The comfiest shoes I've every owned
I've been buying barefoot/minimalist footwear for the last 10 years and the primal zens are the best I've had. They started as my casual/everyday and light hiking shoes for the first year, then for the last year have been my everyday gardening shoe (my job - the pictures are taken at the end of a day of gardening) so they've have a lot of miles through them and sole is still intact and there are no holes on the shoe anywhere.
I have quite a wide foot and struggle to find shoes roomy enough to accommodate my toes comfortably but the zens are probably the widest I've ever tried so no problem there. Also many barefoot shoes ive owned eventually separate where the sole meets the upper at the ball of the foot, or holes appear in the upper at that point, but I've not had that happen with any Lems shoes I've owned.
The shoe is extremely light yet has nice thick, cushioned material and rigidity around the opening, with a loop at the back for your finger, meaning the sides and back don't doesn't collapse when you try to push your foot into the shoe (a common problem I find with a lot of barefoot shoes that have very thin and flimsy uppers).
The sole is very flexible yet has decent protection from sharp stones whilst still giving great ground feel (especially with the insole removed which is how I like it).
They have lasted so well given the heavy wear I have subjected them to, as well as many times through the washing machine (which makes them look like new even after 2…

Looks great and mostly minimal
This is my fourth pair of Primals (going back to 2015), but these are my first pair of the Zen model. I chose the Zen because of the Nugget color, which looks great. That said, these feel a bit too structured for me, even when I remove the insole (which I always do).
